In the icy waters of Antarctica Scientists investigating and said they have collected mystifying creatures in the foggy depths, including giant sea spiders and massive worms.Scientists collected specimens from up to 6,500 feet underneath the surface of the Southern Ocean. Some under sea animals grow to huge size, a phenomenon called gigantism.”Gigantism is very common in Antarctic waters”. Martin Riddle, the Australian Antarctic Division scientist said in a statement. “We have collected huge worms, giant crustaceans, and sea spiders the size of dinner plates.”
Also, topics on Vaestro (http://vaestro.com/subject-10) discuss the above mentioned situation. The point of view of different people is quite interesting and, to be honest, I find listening to their voices quite fascinating since it allows us to feel the emotions behind the thoughts. Vaestro seems like an interesting tool and, looking at the rise of audio driven sites, maybe this is how the world will communicate in another year or so.

Clinton Rubin and colleagues at the State University of New York in Stony Brook discovered light vibrations which can prevent and even reduce the formation of fat tissue.Rubin says this shaking increases the patient’s metabolism as exercise would, but because it slows the formation of fat cells in the body in the first place. The therapy could decrease fatness and prevent the onset of related problems such as diabetes.Rubin suggests that the subject could stand on a ground-based platform similar to weighing scales to receive the vibrations, or they could be delivered by vibrating shoes, or clothing.Rubin and colleagues’ work on mice has been published, and it will be interesting to see if the work makes it as far as human trials.
Also based on a new entry at http://www.listentomyidea.com/comment-31-1,a leading cause of blindness could one day be treatable using stem cell therapy, researchers say.Rats with a degenerative eye disease similar to macular degeneration – the most common cause of blindness in the over 60s – had the deterioration of their vision reduced by tissue implants derived from human embryonic stem cells.
